The first of may “windin’ downs.” Every time I end a painting session I finish by adding the extra paint on my brushes to an extra canvas. Partly because I don't like wasting paint, also because it makes it easier to clean my brushes (on the rare occasion I do), but most of all because it helps me wind down after a long session.
I've use this canvas since the beginning of the year to wind down after a painting session - comissions, oil practice, The Grove Post snail mail. I think over time it ended up being a painting in itself. So I am listing it as the first "wind down" series that will appear slowly. It's a blend of everything I've worked on so far.
